booking Conditions

The booking is binding for both the client and Sandvikengården once it has been confirmed. Confirmation can be made verbally, via email or in writing. If the agreement was made by telephone, this is considered confirmation. When booking, name, telephone number and possible email address must be provided.

Special terms and conditions apply to online bookings, which are presented at the time of booking.

Booking by e-mail should always be accompanied by an acknowledgment from the hostel to be valid.

Check-in: 3:00 PM–8:00 PM. If you arrive later than 8:00 PM, Sandvikengården must be contacted!

Check out: No later than 12:00.

Cancellations must be made no later than 6:00 PM the day before arrival, unless otherwise agreed. If you cancel later, you will be charged for one day. This also applies in the event of a no-show.

Have you ordered for a period of time, but depart before this time has elapsed, you will pay the same compensation as a late cancellation. In addition to the price for the time you spent on the farm will be charged an additional day.

Payment is made upon check-in or, if agreed, on account no later than 10 days before arrival.

We allow pets in a few rooms. Always check if pets are allowed at the time of booking.

Smoking is not allowed indoors on the farm. In case of violation of the smoking ban, Sandvikengården has the right to charge extra costs for laundry etc.

Damage: According to the Nordic team responds Sandvikengården for you and your belongings only if the damage caused by the hostel staff.

Responsibility: The guest is responsible for any damage that he/she or his/her accompanying guests cause within the farm.

In the event that the trip cannot be carried out due to an obstacle beyond Sandvikengården's control that the organizer could not reasonably have been expected to have taken into account when the agreement was entered into, and the consequences of which the organizer could not reasonably have avoided or overcome, Sandvikengården is free from liability for damages or other penalties. The same applies even if the cancellation of the trip is due to someone the farm has hired or someone else in an earlier stage.
