Booking & Reservation

How do I book a canoe trip?
You can use our online booking form or send us an email with your booking request. We will respond within three days with a preliminary booking that you confirm via email. You can also call us at 0570-500 25.
Do I have to book in advance?
It is safest to book canoes in advance so that we can prepare your equipment and plan transportation to the starting location. The canoes are often available, but a few weeks is normal when all are fully booked during peak season.
Can I change or cancel my booking?
Yes, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your booking. We always try to find a solution.

The canoe package includes: canoe (INCAS AL 525), paddles, life jacket, tarp, rope, shovel, garbage bag, packing barrel one per canoe, transportation to the starting point and complete trail description with maps.
Do you have kayaks for rent?
Yes, we have a few Point 65 kayaks. Please note that kayaks have limited packing space compared to Canadians.
How many people can fit in the canoe?
Our INCAS AL 525 canoes can hold up to 3 people and 400 kg. They have two fixed seats, but you can put in 1-2 extra seats for children. With two small children, packing needs to be minimized!

Card payments work well in Sweden and in stores in Austmarka, Norway (Jösseleden). Please bring some Swedish kronor, but it is not necessary if your card works for Swedish payments.
How do I get to Sandvikengården?
We are located just outside Arvika in western Värmland. If you are flying into Oslo, the best option is to take the train to Värmland (Arvika station). From there we can help with transportation. See our contact page for directions by car.
