What is confirmation?

Confirmation means confirmation and is about confirming one's baptism. In infant baptism, parents are asked if they want their child to be baptized into the Christian faith, and in confirmation, the person being confirmed is then asked to confirm their baptism and say yes to God.

If you have not been baptized before, the opportunity for baptism will be available during the camp.

We want to give you, as a confirmand, the opportunity to discover who God is and to grow in faith in him. The confirmation period is an important time, which you should try to make the most of. It is not primarily intended to give you a few nice summer weeks, but first and foremost wants to be a guidance in life's most important issues.

Our leaders

The leadership team consists of young people and adults from different parts of Sweden, several of whom have themselves been confirmed at Sandvikengården and have continued to come as leaders year after year. A great group that plans and prepares so that you, as a confirmand, will have the best confirmation time possible.

Our leaders are relatively young, committed and have extensive knowledge of both confirmation education and how to create a safe and fun environment for young people.

Former confirmation candidate

""The community and all the new people you get to meet and get to know. That it was actually so much fun and that the lessons and homework weren't as hard as I thought. The evening prayers, the excursions, the hike and all the fun!""
