GamlaTiderstugan, which got its name from the craft course that timbered the cottage, was built in 2002. It is built of timber and is about 12m2. The cottage has a combined kitchen - bedroom, a sofa with a bed and a bed. There is also a mini kitchen and a small table for up to two people. In GamlaTiderstugan there is a WC and hot and cold water. It has electric heating and TV.

The kitchen is equipped for two people and the beds have duvet and pillow. GamlaTiderstugan is located about 30 meters from Lake Värmeln's shore and Sandvikengården's bathing area. Between the cottage and the bathing area is Sjöboden with showers and sauna.
